OIEC Assistance

As an injured employee in Texas, you can get free assistance from OIEC. We can answer your questions and provide assistance with your workers’ compensation claim by calling or visiting an OIEC office.
Email OIEC at oiecinbox@oiec.texas.gov or call (866) 393-6432 for help with your claim

We can help injured employees (or beneficiaries of employees who die from a work-related accident) if they:

Knowledgeable. OIEC has customer support specialists and ombudsmen who can answer questions and provide free assistance. Ombudsman assistance includes preparing you for dispute resolution proceedings, as well as attending and participating in those proceedings.

Confidential. Communication made with any OIEC employee is confidential under Texas Labor Code § 404.110.
